For most international delegates, Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) will be the primary gateway to the city. Changi Airport offers direct connections to destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. To get to the city you can take the following:
Public Bus
- Terminals 1, 2 and 3: Bus stops are located at the basement bus bays. You can take buses 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 from there.
- Terminal 4: At the bus stop next to Car Park 4B, you can take buses 24, 34, 36 and 110. At the bus stop near the SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1, you can take buses 27, 53 and 858.
Train
- from Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2) to Tanah Merah MRT Station (EW4), then transfer to the East West Line towards Tuas Link MRT Station (EW33).
- Alternatively, train from Changi Airport MRT Station to Expo MRT Station (CG1/DT35), then transfer to the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang MRT Station (BP6/DT1).
Attendees travelling from Malaysia can reach Singapore via cross-border rail services connecting through Woodlands Train Checkpoint, Singapore’s international railway station. From there, visitors can connect to the city’s MRT network for onward travel to hotels, business districts, and the Meeting Venue.
Singapore’s rail network is integrated with the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, which provides convenient connections across the island and to key commercial and convention areas.
For regional travellers, rail can offer a practical alternative to air travel on selected routes between Singapore and neighbouring Malaysian cities.
Long-distance coach services connect Singapore with major destinations across Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Malacca, and Penang.
Many international coach services arrive in the Golden Mile area, a key transport hub for cross-border travel. Convenient connections to MRT stations, bus routes, and taxi services make onward travel across Singapore straightforward.
This gives attendees a concrete landmark without getting into operator-specific details that may change.
Singapore is connected to Peninsular Malaysia via the Woodlands Causeway and the Tuas Second Link, providing direct road access from Johor Bahru and other parts of southern Malaysia.
Car-sharing is a sustainable, convenient and flexible way to travel within Singapore, providing easy connections between hotels, business districts, and the Meeting Venue.
Move Around the City
Singapore’s public transport system has an extensive island-wide coverage. The network combines MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) trains and public buses, providing convenient access to business districts, hotels, event venues, and residential areas.
- MRT (Mass Rapid Transit): The fastest and most efficient way to travel across Singapore. The rail network connects major commercial, hospitality, and convention areas throughout the city.
- Public Buses: An extensive bus network complements the MRT system and provides access to destinations not directly served by rail.
- Taxi & Private Hire Services: Widely available throughout Singapore and suitable for direct journeys or travel outside public transport operating hours.
Public transport generally operates from early morning until around midnight, providing convenient travel options throughout the day.

- Singapore has a tropical climate with warm temperatures and occasional rainfall throughout the year. Lightweight clothing is recommended, and carrying a small umbrella can be useful during periods of rain.
- English is widely spoken and used for business, public services, transportation, and signage. Mandarin Chinese, Malay, and Tamil are also official languages.
