WORKSHOP 1: MASTERING CHALLENGES IN METABOLIC BARIATRIC SURGERY

This half-day masterclass will provide an in-depth review of complications following metabolic bariatric surgery, focusing on their prevention, early recognition, and effective management. Through expert-led presentations and interactive case discussions, participants will explore challenging clinical scenarios, evidence-based treatment strategies, and approaches to improving patient safety and long-term outcomes.

WORKSHOP 2: SARCOPENIC OBESITY MASTERCLASS: ASSESS, DIAGNOSE AND INTERVENE

Sarcopenic obesity goes beyond the problem of low muscle mass and is often under-diagnosed among people with obesity (PwO); it impacts the metabolic health and health outcomes of our PwO.
